Kirsten Connelly, from Catholic Charities in Maine, will share a consultation tool she and her team developed. In her first two years as Assistant Program Director, Kirsten observed that some reports describing consultation lacked depth or clear evidence of how a student’s functional vision impacted educational planning. In response, she convened a committee of TVIs to develop a more structured approach to consultation, with the goal of strengthening support for student teams. The result of this work is Consultation Station.

Kirsten will present for approximately 30 minutes, followed by a collaborative discussion where participants can share consultation techniques and strategies they use in their own practice.
